Every engagement starts with a 15-minute chat, a real conversation, not a sales call. Describe the operational bottleneck that’s costing your team the most time or money. We’ll give you an honest answer on whether we’re the right fit, and what the right first step is. Costs nothing either way.
If the right first step is a build, it still goes through a workflow audit first. This is the rule. Not because it generates another invoice (the audit fee credits in full against the build), but because builds that skip the audit ship the wrong thing. Every time. The audit maps how your team actually works, not how someone thinks it works. The build is then built against that map.
You can’t book an Engineering build without an audit. You can’t sign up for Managed Delivery for an application that doesn’t exist yet. The ladder goes triage → discovery → build → live, and the order matters. This protects you as much as it protects us. The Hosted Website Plan is the one exception: it’s a self-contained offer with its own discovery call.

- How do I know which pillar I need?
- Start with a 15-minute chat, costs nothing. Describe the one thing about your operations that's costing you the most time or money. Most of the time the answer becomes obvious in that conversation: the workflow is broken (Strategy & Service Design, the audit lives here), the software doesn't exist or has stopped fitting (Engineering), the data is trapped in spreadsheets nobody trusts (Data & AI), or something custom is already running and needs a steady hand on it (Managed Delivery). If it's not clear, the workflow audit is the right first step. It produces a punch list that answers the question for you.
- Can I skip the audit and go straight to a build?
- No. Every build starts with a workflow audit. This isn't a revenue-protection rule. It's the mechanism that stops you paying to build the wrong thing. The audit produces a spec, and the build is built against that spec. Without it, the scope drifts, the brief is based on assumptions rather than observed behaviour, and the thing that ships isn't quite the thing you needed. The audit fee credits against the build if you proceed.
- Do you work with healthcare and care providers?
- Yes, on the right terms. We automate the manual work CQC compliance creates: the rekeying, the document chasing, the spreadsheets that became load-bearing. Your registered manager or compliance lead remains the authority on the rule itself. We build the tools that turn the rule into clean daily work. If what you actually need is CQC interpretation or sector-specialist advice, that's a different conversation, and one for a sector specialist.
- Is this really just one person?
- Mostly yes. Orchestrix is run by Alex with trusted collaborators pulled in when a build needs specialist hands. The work, the relationship, and the accountability all sit with the same operator. - How does billing work?
- Every engagement is fixed-fee. The triage chat costs nothing. The audit, the build, and the Managed Delivery retainer are all fixed-fee, agreed before any work starts. No hourly rates, no mystery invoice line items, no "we billed 83 hours this month" emails. The number is agreed before the work starts, and that's what you pay. (The Hosted Website Plan is a fixed monthly offer at £50/month with no upfront cost.)
- How much do projects cost?
- Depends on the shape of the work. We don't put numbers on the marketing site because pricing without context invites anchoring on the wrong figure. Once we've had a chat and understood the bottleneck, we agree a fixed fee before any work starts. Ring us on 07754 218 688 or tell us what's broken and we'll talk it through. - Where are you based?
- Nottingham. Most work is done remotely: audit conversations over video, builds delivered digitally. On-site visits for the workflow audit are available within the UK. If your business is outside the UK and the engagement makes sense, that's a conversation to have in the triage chat.
