The build isn’t actually free.
Free at the point of sale, not free in the literal sense. The build costs us real time, and the £50 a month over 24 months covers that cost (plus the hosting, plus the small edits, plus monitoring and backups).
A typical UK web agency quotes £3,000 to £5,000 up front for a 5-page custom site, then charges £30 to £100 a month for hosting on top. The total over 24 months sits somewhere between £3,720 and £7,400.
The same shape of build through this plan is £1,200 over 24 months, with hosting and small edits included. The difference is the payment shape, not the work.
The reason this is possible at all is that there is no agency stack between the work and you. The same small team scopes, designs, builds, and hosts your site, with specialist collaborators pulled in only when a build needs them. No account manager, no project manager, no designer-to-developer handoff. That removes roughly £2,000 to £3,500 of overhead from a typical agency quote.
The 24-month commitment is what makes the offer honest. Without it, we’d lose money on every build. With it, the maths works out for both sides. Most sites are live in weeks, and if you later need more than a website (bookings, an online tool, something bespoke), the custom build track picks up where the plan stops.

- Yes. There is no deposit, no setup fee, no design retainer. We cover the cost of the build up front and recover it through the 24-month hosting plan at £50 a month. £1,200 total over the term. No surprise invoices.
- What's the catch?
- The 24-month commitment. The plan only works because the hosting fee underwrites the build cost over that period. If you cancel before month 24, the remaining months at £50 become payable on settlement. After month 24 the plan renews in 12-month terms; give 30 days' notice before a renewal to leave at the end of the term.
- Is this just a template with my logo on it?
- No. We design the site from a blank canvas around your business, your photos, your way of working. You review it on a private link and we keep going until you are happy. The design is yours on launch and is not reused for any other client.
- What's included for £50 a month?
- UK hosting, SSL certificate, monthly off-site backups, uptime monitoring, security patches, a custom domain registered in your name, and small content edits (text changes, phone numbers, opening hours, image swaps). New pages, redesigns, online payments, and custom integrations are quoted separately.
