Custom software · fixed fee · yours to keep

The right appdoesn't exist. So we build it.

Custom software for small businesses that works the way you actually do: internal tools, customer portals, the replacement for the spreadsheet everything secretly depends on. Built from Nottingham, shipped UK-wide, and you own it outright. One fixed price, agreed in writing before we start.

What we build

Made for your business. Only yours.

Off-the-shelf software makes you work its way. Custom software works yours. These are the builds we're asked for most.

If the pain is more copy-paste than missing app, that's automation. If it's numbers scattered across five systems, that's data & AI. Not sure which? Tell us the problem and we'll say straight which fix it needs.

  • Internal tools and dashboards shaped around your actual process, not a vendor's idea of it
  • A proper replacement for the load-bearing spreadsheet, before it finally falls over
  • Customer and staff portals: logins, bookings, documents and progress in one place
  • Quoting and job-tracking tools that follow the work from enquiry to invoice
  • Integrations that make the systems you already own finally talk to each other
  • An honest review of software you already have, half-built or live: what to keep, what to harden, what to drop
How it works

From first chat to yours.

01

Have a chat

Tell us what's missing or what's creaking. We will say straight whether a custom build is the answer, or an off-the-shelf tool would do you fine.

02

We review before you spend

We map the real job with the people who'll do it. If software already exists, we read it first: most reviews conclude keep it and harden three things, not start again.

03

Build and test alongside you

You see it early and often on a private link, and we shape it together until it fits.

04

It's yours

It goes live and you own it outright: code, data, the lot. Hosting and support are agreed up front, with no lock-in.

Real builds

Built, shipped, owned.

The big one first: we rebuilt a UK property investment platform end to end, public site to staff back office, alongside the firm's existing 400,000-line system. It started with a review, not a pitch.

48 claims, read against the code

Before building anything, we audited the platform the firm already had: traced 48 of their marketing claims line by line through the code, then told them plainly which were real, which were partial, and which weren't there at all. Including the uncomfortable ones.

Attacked before it shipped

The rebuild's specification went through an adversarial review, checked against actual legislation and case law, before any code was written. And the finished platform ships with security tests that attack it the way a bad actor would: cross-tenant access, spoofed records, payment on a lapsed checkout.

Eight systems into one

A specialist UK recruitment operation ran HR and compliance across eight disconnected systems, including spreadsheets used as databases. One consolidation: £24,520 a year saved and 14 hours a week back, per worker.

Every build hands over the same way: modern stack, code and data yours, self-hosted if you want it, no metered bills creeping up. More results with the numbers attached in the case studies.

Common questions

The honest answers.

What does it cost?
A fixed number, agreed in writing before we start. We scope what it needs to do, quote one price, and that's the price. No day rates, no creeping extras.
We already have software half-built. Can you work with it?
Yes, and it's often the smartest money you'll spend. We review what you already have before you build more: we read the code, check what actually works, and tell you plainly what's real, what's fragile and what's missing. Most reviews conclude keep it and harden three things. We're not a dev shop hunting for a rebuild.
Who owns the software?
You do. The code, the data, the lot. If we ever part ways you keep everything, and any competent developer can pick it up where we left off.
Will it be maintained?
Yes, and we agree how up front. Hosting, support and updates are part of the conversation before we start, not a surprise afterwards, and nothing ties you to us.
How long does a build take?
Small tools are live in weeks; bigger builds take a couple of months. You get a private link early so you can watch it take shape, and we agree the timeline before we start.
Can it grow as we do?
Yes. We build simple things that can be extended, so adding a feature later is another fixed-price job, not a rebuild.
What technology do you use?
Boring, reliable, widely used tech: the kind any developer can still work on in ten years. No exotic frameworks only we understand, because that would just be lock-in with extra steps.

What are you making do with?

Describe the tool you wish existed, or the spreadsheet you're scared to touch, and we'll say straight if we can build the fix. Costs nothing to chat. Ring 07754 218 688 any weekday.
